Dear friends of the German Shepherd

The dog world is once again a guest in Switzerland! I am pleased that here in Sursee in beautiful Central Switzerland, after Lucerne in 1997, a World Championship will take place again, namely the 12th WUSV World Championship Universal from 13 to 16 July 2023.

We from the Schäferhund Club Ortsgruppe Sursee, SC OG Sursee, are proud to be able to organise and run the event for our national association, the Swiss Shepherd Dog Club (SC).

Our 13-member organizing committee was concerned in advance to create the best possible conditions so that it will be a wonderful experience for you, dear competitors and visitors, when you are our guests here in Switzerland.

I wish the teams and their handlers every success and good luck in the competition, and I wish the judges the necessary tact in their judging and a happy hand in awarding the ratings.

I wish you, our esteemed guests, exciting and eventful days here in Sursee. Take advantage of the opportunity for an international exchange of experiences among like-minded colleagues and indulge in our common hobby, the dog sport with the German Shepherd.
